Silymarin or milk thistle (MT) has been well investigated by researchers due its established benefit in liver disease.

How it works

The active complex of MT is an extract from the seeds of three flavonolignans collectively known as silymarin. It works in a number of ways: as an antioxidant reducing free radical production, it reduces fibrosis  and blocks the binding of toxins to liver cells. It may help reduce the hangover effects of alcohol.
