    Antibiotic treatment support

This combination of supplements has been clinically proven to optimise results through its synergistic effects.

    The Benefits of this combination

    1. Reduction in antibiotic-associated gastrointestinal disturbances.

    2. Improved overall energy and fewer symptoms of infections.

    3. Absence or reduction in symptoms of yeast overgrowth.

While antibiotics fight off infections, they can upset the gut's delicate microbial balance. This combination is designed to boost the effect of antibiotics and minimise the side effects.

NAC boosts the immune system and significantly amplifies the power of antibiotics.

Europeans have long recognised the benefits of combining S. boulardii with antibiotics, and it is standard practise to prescribe them alongside any antibiotic unlike in the UK.

    The need to know

    What is it?

Each daily pack in this 2-week course contains NAC, S. boulardii, L-Glutamine, vitamins A, C, and E, Zinc Citrate, and an Anti-Candida treatment.

These are meticulously chosen to work in synergy, optimising the benefits of antibiotic treatment while minimising potential side effects.

    The Science

    NAC (N-acetyl cysteine)
How it Works: A potent antioxidant, NAC elevates glutathione levels, breaks down mucus, and disrupts resilient bacterial biofilms.
The Science: Enhanced antibiotic efficacy has been linked with NAC, especially in mucus membrane infections, due to its biofilm-disrupting properties. It’s also integral in lifting glutathione levels, a critical factor during infections.

    S. boulardii
How it Works: A probiotic yeast, S. boulardii, is instrumental in restoring gut flora balance and staving off fungal and protozoal infections.
The Science: Its proficiency in preventing antibiotic-induced diarrhoea is well-documented, making its co-use with antibiotics popular in Europe.

    L-Glutamine
How it Works: Serving as fuel for gut lining cells, L-glutamine fosters their health while bolstering the immune system.
The Science: L-glutamine supplements have shown promise in healing intestinal tissues affected by antibiotics, reaffirming its role in optimal gut health.

    Vitamin A, C, and E
How it Works: As crucial players in preserving mucosal surfaces' health and acting as antioxidants, these vitamins shield cells from free radical damage.
The Science: Their role in gut health during antibiotic phases needs further elucidation. Nonetheless, their antioxidant properties hint at their potential advantages.

    Zinc Citrate
How it Works: Vital for many body functions, zinc, especially in its chelated citrate form, enhances immune system performance and aids in wound healing.
The Science: Research indicates zinc's potential in safeguarding the gut lining and controlling inflammation signs during antibiotic therapy.

    When to take it?

    What are the benefits?

    1. Reduction in antibiotic-associated gastrointestinal disturbances.

    2. Improved overall energy and fewer symptoms of infections.

    3. Absence or reduction in symptoms of yeast overgrowth.
